Instructions
Prepare the Batter

Mix dry ingredients
Pour dry mix into a mixing bowl and whisk together to blend.

Add wet ingredients
Add wet mix and stir to blend well.

Add optional mix-ins
Blend in any optional add-ins such as chocolate chips or chopped nuts.
Bake

Prepare pan
Pour into an 8" x 8" well-buttered glass oven dish. For thinner brownies, use an 8x16 pan.

Smooth batter
Smooth out to create a fairly flat surface.

Bake brownies
Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes. Be sure to take them out as soon as centered toothpick comes out clean to keep them fudgy.

Serve
Serve with a dollop of whipped cream, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream or gelato.
