Instructions
Marinate the Fish
- 1
Marinate fish
Marinate the fish in teriyaki sauce and seasonings of your choice for 24 hours or more in the refrigerator.
Prepare and Cook
- 1
Prepare foil tray
Prepare a small aluminum foil tray for the air fryer basket to make cleanup easier.
- 2
Oil the foil
Spread extra virgin olive oil on the foil to make it slick, so the fish will release more easily after cooking.
- 3
Air fry fish
Cook in the air fryer at 375°F for 20 minutes.
- 4
Check temperature
Internal temperature of fish should read at least 165°F.
- 5
Serve
Serve with a shoot of romaine lettuce and two red slices of a ripe heirloom tomato as a simple, elegant salad.
Cook's Notes
Works well with cod, haddock, or similar white fish. The aluminum foil tray method makes cleanup much easier. Fish is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and flakes easily with a fork.
